Creative Fine Art

"Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time."
Thomas Merton

WELCOME!
I am a professional artist, art enthusiast, teacher and entrepreneur. I specialize in a variety of animals, birds, flowers, barns, landscapes and anything with a Wild West, country boho and farmhouse flair. You will find many of my paintings are on unique "found" objects such as reclaimed barn and/or weathered wood, paper birch bark, metal, fabric, and every once in a while a simple white canvas.
Art is therapeutic in a multitude of ways. When painting, I am free to be wherever my imagination leads. I love to capture and express the exquisite beauty in the mighty hand of God's creation.
My hope is that my art will brighten your day and bring a smile to your heart!
PAINT YOUR PET
Pets aren't our whole lives but they help to make our lives whole.
Best friends come in all different sizes!
For many years I have been teaching the ever-popular class, Paint Your Pet. This class continues to be my top seller.
I can also paint your pet for you. These paintings are on weathered wood with a jute rope attached at the top (or your fur baby can be painted on canvas if you prefer.) Pet paintings make an unforgettable gift as well.

RANCH HANDS
For the love of ranch life! Most pieces are painted on original reclaimed barn or weathered wood and are enhanced with coordinating rustic frames. All are unique and one-of-a-kind!

WILD FOR NATURE
"Look deep into nature and you will understand everything better." Albert Einstein

WILD FOR BIRCH
Featured here is my newest creation of wild life painted on RARE paper birch bark collected by my husband and me from downed birch trees. Bark was then cleaned, flattened and treated for painting. It's a lengthy process of love!
"God made the wild animals...and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good."
Genesis 11:25

WHISPERING MEMORIES COLLECTION
While walking, hiking or driving in my beautiful home state of Idaho, I often come across old weathered barns that are captivating and intriguing. I begin to wonder -- if the walls could talk, what stories would they tell? So my "Whispering Memories" collection was born from reminiscing and dreaming about days gone by.
